I am selling a lovely and rare André Vassort white and yellow 18K wristwatch. The watch is powered by an Ebel hand-wind movement. 24.4 x 33.7 mm. Gross weight: 28 g. Watch is running. AV (André Vassort) master seal. André Vassort was a renowned French jeweler who gained worldwide recognition for his exquisite creations during the early 20th century. Born in 1881 in the city of Paris, Andre Vassort was fascinated with jewelry making from a young age, and he pursued his passion with determination and skill and soon became a renowned and of of the most important french jewelry designer of the 20th century. In December 1955, he opened his own workshop, Atelier Vassort at 34 Rue Sainte Anne and began creating exquisite innovative unique pieces which were of same workmanship as the top Jewlers of those times.His work soon gained recognition for his innovative designs which were different and fresh. All of his jewelry came with the promise of excellent craftsmanship.
