Purchased new in the 1980s.

Although it's an American manufacturer, the stamp reads JAPAN.
I've seen articles online stating it was made in America and sold by Tomy, but the product is stamped ©BUDDY L CORP. JAPAN. It may not be the same product. Unconfirmed.

There is some deterioration due to the passage of time. The clear plastic parts are slightly cloudy.
The condition is generally good for a model of this era.
