After being drafted in 1943, he returned to professional baseball.
1947-1948 Kinsei Stars Number 8
1949-1950 Hankyu Braves Number 7
Due to team circumstances, he played in 23 games while battling illness, after which he was forced to recuperate. He never returned to active play and passed away on January 16, 1957, at the young age of 36.
He was a master of the sacrifice bunt.

Note: Victor Starffin passed away on January 12, 1957, at the age of 40, in an unfortunate traffic accident. The fact that a player who was active with the former Kinsei Stars passed away four days later also contributed to the value of this menko card.

This is a menko card of Tadayoshi Tamakoshi, number 8, from his time with the Kinsei Stars in 1947-1948.
