Wild Turkeys - Native American pattern is one of several highly collectible Johnson Bros turkey patterns. It was produced between 1951 and 1974. The teacup is made of ceramic/ironstone and showcases a brown transferware design with a multicolor turkey illustration. The pattern includes flying turkeys. There is no saucer. The cup is approximately 2 1/4" tall and in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. It looks as if it was used minimally if at all. It is marked on the bottom with an impressed Made in England. These teacups are designed to be wider at the top with an even angle to the bottom to allow for proper cooling of the tea.
