Fitted ribbed waistband to stop cold gusts. Park your zipper in the zipper garage to keep it from scratching your chin. Thumbholes keep sleeves down and make layering easy. Don't scrounge around for a rubber band, your emergency hair tie is on the zipper. The fabric is preshrunk before the hoodie is sewn so you don't get any surprises in the wash.
