Vintage 14K Yellow Gold Rose de France Amethyst and Single Cut Diamond Ring Sz 7

Bezel set in the center of this ring is an emerald cut amethyst gemstone. It is a large Rose de France color amethyst with a pale lavender tint and nice sparkle. The center stone is loose within the bezel but there is metal touching on all sides so I do not see any reason for it to fall out. The white gold bezel has a milgrain beading for extra detailing. And then the gemstone is surrounded by a row of 17 single cut white diamonds. There is one tiny diamond missing that fell out after I polished it on the buffing wheel and then left it in the ultrasonic to clean. It is hard to spot because of all of the detailing in the prongs and all prongs intact so easy to replace if you decide to. This ring measures 9/16" across the center and 7/16" from side to side. The setting is solid yellow gold and has been acid tested for 14K. There are a few hallmark/trademark stamps on the outside of the band. It is a very well made 5.2 gram setting that appears to me to be handmade. A great vintage find!
