Vintage Everlast hand-wrought aluminum silent butler or crumb catcher. It was used for brushing crumbs from a dining table and emptying ashtrays. The hinged lid features an endearing fruit and foliage motif. It is made of hand-forged aluminum, known for its unique craftsmanship and durability. Silent butlers back to the mid-20th century, potentially the 1940s or 1950s. This piece is in fantastic vintage condition. Since it was hand forged, it shows the appropriate finish. There is a tiny mark on the handle where the lid touch touches it when opened. Please see photos for any condition concerns. A great addition to your vintage collection of serving ware pieces. A unique piece to display with possible use to collect keys or other household items. The pot is 6" in diameter, and with the handle is 11 3/4" long.
