Vintage US M1902 Miniature US Army Sword, NS Meyer New York Letter Opener
Original WW1 US Miniature Army M1902 Dress Sword with Cord N S Meyer. A fine quality miniature sold by NS Meyer of New York. The etched blade measures 8 inches in length, with a red wool felt bumper at the guard. Three branch guard, with a separate grip.Nickel finish scabbard with two suspension rings; original sword knot attached to the guard. The sword is in good condition with some wear on the finish from age. The scabbard is in good serviceable condition. The cord is still present and in good condition. The blade is marked N S Meyer and was made in Germany.
